RRH Chief Digital Information Officer Named Among Top National Leaders

Dwight Raum, Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) of Rochester Regional Health, has been named as one of the “Chief Digital Officers to Know In 2024” by the influential publication Becker’s Hospital Review.

The Becker’s Healthcare list recognizes 46 leaders who are tasked with overseeing technology integration, improving patient journeys, and increasing care access through digital initiatives. Chief digital officers collaborate with their IT and clinical colleagues, striving to implement digital tools that pave the way for streamlined workflows and electronic health records.

Mr. Raum joined RRH in 2023 and is already spearheaded several successful digital efforts that are helping to modernize the health system’s IT infrastructure. Through his work, RRH implemented Enterprise Access Management with Single-Sign-On (SSO) that helps simplify access while improving security for our employees. Mr. Raum is also helping the health system reimagine its data governance for operational, data & analytics, and technology to support an integrated health system, and has created a digital and AI-driven roadmap for our future.

As a collaborative leader, Mr. Raum has played a crucial role in facilitating RRH’s virtual care redesign and the establishment of a command center for co-located, multi-disciplinary care coordination. His efforts have been instrumental in promoting operational excellence throughout the organization, ensuring the seamless integration of all care initiatives. Mr. Raum has also worked very closely with our partners at RIT to create and implement a framework for innovation and support of a robust alliance between RRH and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Prior to joining RRH, Mr. Raum served in executive leadership roles with Quil Health out of Philadelphia and Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine. He holds a degree in Management Science with a specialization in Operations Management from Virginia Tech.
