Dr. Jonathan Broder is the former Chairman of Radiology at Rochester General Hospital and an accomplished board-certified interventional radiologist. To Dr. Broder, “it is a true privilege to significantly impact the lives of my patients and their families. Offering minimally invasive image-guided procedures to my patients allows for a quicker recovery time and is often accompanied with less risk than the traditional surgical alternative.” His clinical expertise in procedures, especially with prostate artery embolization, peripheral vascular angioplasty and stenting, uterine fibroid embolization, and varicose vein ablation treatments, has earned Dr. Broder the reputation as one of the most respected interventional radiologists in the Rochester region. Moreover, his clinical and administrative leadership as Chairman previously have led to advances in image quality, departmental efficiency, and patient safety in the busy and rapidly growing radiology department. The combination of his over 20 years of experience in interventional radiology and his leadership experience as one of Rochester General Hospital’s chiefs of service allow Dr. Broder to offer a unique perspective. Dr. Broder enjoys teaching his many skills to the IR residents. Dr. Broder is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (FACR).
